3 Negative Beliefs That Are Holding You Back In Life

Negative ThoughtsThere are some beliefs that are only psychological which are holding you back from achieving your full potential. Now you might be thinking “Meh, so what?”. Well what if I told you that you could be more happier, more successful and you could even live longer if you changed these negative beliefs into positive ones… would you believe me?

You should, because if you don’t change them you will never reach your full potential and you’ll be living a life that most people live. Living from month to month, because you can’t afford to do anything else.

Below are the most common negative beliefs that are stopping you from living the live you truly deserve… plus ways in which you can take control and turn them into positive ones.

Let’s get started…

1. Failure

The fear of failure is VERY strong in the minds of people and it is perpetuated day in day out. That voice inside your head will beat you down until your spirit is crushed, so you need to really listen to the voice and understand the words you’re using mentally. Failure is inevitable, but why are you so scared of it?

Remember when you were a child and you were willing to try almost anything? And now you’re an adult, most things scare you? You need to flip that on it’s head and trick your mind into trying anything because failure is a GOOD thing. Without it, you will not learn and grow as a person.

2. The thoughts of others

Why would the thoughts of another person control your actions? That sounds crazy to me, it’s unbelievable almost. But that’s what is happening to MILLIONS of people all over the world right now. For example, you might see a girl at the bar and think… “she is so hot, but what if she doesn’t like me and the girls around here laugh at me?”.

The fact you are thinking that is CRAZY and it needs to stop, it’s just not healthy for your mindset and life.

3. Pessimism

Being pessimistic is a learned behaviour and something we all learn from an early age. Our parents advise us to be cautious, careful and not to adventurous. This translates to “Oh, I wouldn’t do that, you might get hurt or fail”. Eventually it’s natural for us to be more pessimistic than optimistic.

Try this instead… for the next 30 days, look on the good side of life, understand that life is full of surprises, some good and some bad. But you will always limit the good experiences if you don’t open your mind and be more optimistic.
