People who have actually tried to overcome shyness and social anxiety frequently come out on the other side positive. It’s not an easy trip, especially if you’re a recluse and like keeping yourself to yourself; however it can quickly become an issue that can hold you back in life if not resolved quickly.
So today I’m going to give you some very basic techniques for overcoming shyness and social anxiety.
If these techniques don’t work for you them I highly suggest that you check out the Shyness and Social Anxiety System by Sean Cooper. This guy suffered from severe shyness and locked himself away for years, his system is without a doubt the best on the market from changing your life around.
Ok, let’s get started.
1. Sign up for a hobby class
What do you like to do most in this world? Play games? Work on your bike in the garden? Buy new gadgets? Whatever it is you like doing, there’s a group of people in this world (in your area) that like doing the same thing. Sign up at meetup.com and find a group of people you can meet with regularly to discuss your interests.
2. Pay someone to coach you online
Personal coaches are growing in popularity every year, the best thing is you don’t even need to step outside the door to benefit from one. Do a search for personal coaches in your area and buy a few hours of their time, ask them to speak with you via Skype and then tell them how you feel. They can give you advice on how to overcome shyness and battle social anxiety.
3. Get out of your comfort zone daily
You HAVE to do one thing every day that will get you closer to your goal of becoming a normal person. The more you procrastinate and do the same old thing you’ve always done, the more your problem will worsen. Speak to 1 new stranger every day and make small talk, listen to hypnosis, get in touch with old friends on Facebook. Do something!
